Q. I've heard these great sales stories before. Why is EB so different?
A. Our sales team are not just commissioned based individuals, they play an integral part in our operations. They continue to play a proactive role on day to day expectations and their aim is to bring about one of our key quality / selling objectives and that is to bring about "Partnership Working".
We will never sell you a service we can't deliver!!
Q. The problem I find when looking to change security companies is that it's so time consuming.
A. If allowed by our new clients, EB Guarding & EB Monitoring UK Ltd will manage the whole implementation / induction and where applicable any TUPE implementation. Our Operations Management team (or where required the contracts business manager) will endeavor to provide a seamless transition from start to finish.
We hope to provide you peace of mind, we deliver what we agree, and if it's not possible we will tell you and bring about a successful solution.
Q. When I have a problem I always end up speaking to someone who doesn't know my business and I always need to wait for answers.
A. At EB we have our own 24-hour control room capability.
Our Company Directors and Managers are required as part of their service contract to be available when not on holiday to deal either directly or via our 24-hour control room with your requirements and will prove to be an asset to the profit protection of your business.
Q. Why is it I see so many different faces in my gatehouse?
A. EB will provide a dedicated team of security officers specific to your contractual needs; furthermore, each contract will have a small number of trained officers used for holiday /sickness relief.
We will not be "just a face at the gate" but a professional security officer who takes a proactive attitude to your business needs.
Q. Are you experienced in TUPE?
A. Yes, over a period of many years we have undertaken numerous TUPE related contracts, our aim is to minimise your exposure but ensure we meet and surpass TUPE requirements.
Q. I understand your staff are screened, vetted and CRB checked with SIA licenses, how do we know it meets the required standard?
A. Yes, all our security manned guarding staff are correctly screened and vetted, CRB Checks are part of the SIA licensing process. As part of our SIA Approved Contractor Status, every week our personnel department checks the SIA website to ensure all our guards licenses have not expired or been revoked. All our clients are most welcome to visit our head office to inspect the personnel files for those officers working at their premises.
Q. The company we use now has a high turnover of security guards, what makes you different?
A. One thing you would have noticed in our transparent costing proposal is the pay rate we offer. With our prospective clients we ensure we achieve the right pay rates, we treat all our employees with respect, we pay on time and play a pro active approach offering training and advancement in our endeavor to increase employee continuity.
Q. When you say new electronic systems can do away from expensive uniformed guards, how do you justify this?
A. As a company it is one of our responsibilities to reduce our clients' overheads. Where together we conduct a risk assessment and if the installation of various electronic surveillance systems meets those risks then yes, such systems can replace the normal day to day manned guarding. Sometimes it can be a mixture of CCTV, Intruder and Access Control systems, centre station monitoring and out of hours alarm activation/mobile response. So the answer is not a simple yes, but there are buildings or situations where substantial savings can be achieved.
Q. Will your company undertake a trial period?
A. In most cases the answer is yes, as long as any start up cost are recovered then we will accept 1-3 month trial periods.
Q. Do we have to enter into formal quotations and contracts with your company?
A. As an SIA and NSI accredited company it is a requirement that we complete the necessary documentation to meet the needs of our accreditation. In respect to our contracts, these include all our insurance details and the service level agreements which we feel are beneficial to both parties. Should you not wish to enter a formal signed contact we are sure by negotiation we can meet both our companies' requirements.
