 The Knowsley Business Watch, recognised as one of the first Business Watch Organisations in the country with over 300 members based on Knowsley's four Industrial/Business Parks (Knowsley Industrial Park, Knowsley Business Park, Huyton Business Park (Inc Whiston Enterprise Park) and Kings Business Park) was officially launched in 1988 as Knowsley Industry Watch and is now in it's 22nd year.

As part of the scheme Knowsley Business Watch has worked in a close partnership with EB Security Limited over a number of years, who have provided mobile patrols and manned guarding to a variety of clients on the estates, both members and non-members alike.

The patrols operating after business hours and at weekends have worked closely with Knowsley Business Watch in identifying and recording incidents on the estates and acting as a conduit for information and intelligence between the stake-holders and partners involved in crime prevention on the estates.

The Patrols have played a key part in providing security on many parts of the estate and have been instrumental in identifying, reporting and providing support in incidents including break-ins, thefts and fires that have occurred. Patrol officers have provided support to the Huyton Monitoring Centre by attending to potential incidents or investigating suspicious activity seen by the estates CCTV, responding in minutes as part of their continuous patrol programme, and helping to create an environment unattractive to criminals.

Many thanks for all your help and support for the above event  (Birmingham New Years Eve Celebrations) which  was very successful, and crowd that attended thoroughly enjoyed the firework display.

Closing the roads from 11pm worked very well.  The service received from EB Event Security was excellent.
